Parental Leave Data of America's Research Universities

LaborED is a research project and comparative analysis of paid parental leave policies for faculty, staff and graduate students at R1 research universities in America. R1 research universities have broad commitments to DEI, strengthening opportunities for women in STEM, and recruiting and retaining non-traditional students. Many institutions still have no paid parental leave policy for their faculty, staff and graduate students and in many institutions, there is a noticeable difference between the length of paid leave for faculty and the length of paid leave for staff. Some universities still prohibit faculty from taking more than one parental leave during their tenure.
